The body of Sanskrit literature dealing with architecture and iconography is voluminous, even if scattered and insufficiently surveyed and it is the matched by a vernacular literature, more scattered and less known. It comprises, fist of all independent works which can be classified under the general heading of “technical treaties” {Shilpsastra} or under more precise one of the “Treaties of Dwelling” (Vastushastra).
Universe is one of the beautiful creations of nature and everything stands alive only in the limelight of truth. It may be interest worthy to note that for we Indians, Vastu is as ancient as our Vedas. We have been adopting Vastu principals from the evolution of our culture. It is not at all an exaggeration when I mention that we have also been the pioneers in the world to posses, adopt, practice and teach the techniques and concept of peaceful and prosperous living since the dawn of human civilization. As you may be aware, Vastu principals are based on Gravitational laws of earth, specifically on magnetic axis.
